What is this lesson about?
This meditation phrasal verbs ESL lesson plan helps B1–B2 learners build natural language for mindfulness, relaxation, and stress relief. Students practise phrasal verbs such as slow down, tune in, zone out, breathe in, let go of, focus on, switch off, and drift off through reading, grammar tasks, and reflective speaking activities.
What language will students learn? Learners focus on eight phrasal verbs:
Slow down – reduce pace or intensity
Tune in – become aware of thoughts or emotions
Zone out – stop paying attention mentally
Breathe in – inhale deeply
Let go of – release tension or thoughts
Focus on – give attention to something
Switch off – relax and stop thinking about work or stress
Drift off – gradually fall asleep or daydream

Definition matching to clarify meaning of each phrasal verb.
