Lesson Description

What is this lesson about? This relationships collocations ESL lesson plan helps B1–B2 learners build practical language for healthy relationships and social interactions. Students practise collocations such as build trust, set boundaries, resolve conflicts, and spend quality time through matching, gap-fills, transformations, and speaking activities.

  • Show empathy

  • Strengthen a bond

  • Set boundaries

  • Spend quality time

  • Build trust

How do students practise? The lesson develops both fluency and social awareness through:

  • Definition and collocation matching to clarify meaning.

  • Sentence gap-fills and transformations for contextual practice.

  • Tense challenge to reinforce grammar in context.

  • Speaking practice where learners reflect on their own relationships and social habits.
