What is this lesson about?

This new year idioms ESL lesson helps B1–B2 learners understand and use natural expressions for talking about fresh starts, habits, motivation and change. Students learn idioms such as start the year off on the right foot, a clean slate and out with the old, in with the new, and practise them through relatable dialogues, situations and speaking tasks.
