What is this lesson about? This relationships idioms ESL lesson plan helps B1–B2 learners talk naturally about friendships, emotional openness, misunderstandings, and support. Students practise idioms such as hit it off, see eye to eye, bury the hatchet, wear your heart on your sleeve, get off on the wrong foot, and have someone’s back through realistic dialogues, grammar practice, and speaking tasks.

What language will students learn? Learners focus on six essential idioms:

  • Hit it off – get along very well from the first meeting
