Lesson Description

Have You Ever…? (Past & Present Perfect) is a structured, conversation-focused present perfect ESL lesson designed for pre-intermediate learners. This A2–B1 grammar refresher helps students confidently use the present perfect to talk about life experiences, recent actions, and results connected to the present.


Through relatable everyday scenarios, students practise:

  • Asking and answering “Have you ever…?” questions

  • Using already, yet, and never naturally

  • Understanding the difference between been and gone

  • Connecting past events to the present

  • Sequencing events using the past perfect
